Review of Freemax GEMM 80W Kit. First look

Today we will consider a simple and very budget starter kit GEMM 80W Kit from Freemax.

A fairly well-known Chinese manufacturer of vaping devices Freemax is engaged in the development and production of mainly unserviced tanks, as well as starter kits for beginner vapers. During its activity, this company has released several very remarkable devices, among which there was no place for serviced atomizers or even box mods. And today’s new product is no exception. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the next creation of Freemax in the person of the “whale” GEMM 80W.

The GEMM 80W Kit contains a battery pack of the same name and a unserviced tank, and as available colors, the manufacturer offers to choose one of five options: rainbow, blue, black, purple or white. canadian vape shop edmonton The diameter of the pipe, like the tank, is 25 mm, and the height may vary depending on the version purchased.

Inside the battery block there is a fairly solid battery with a capacity of 2900 mAh, the charge level of which can be controlled using the green, yellow and red LED built into the Fire button. In addition, by pressing the same Fire button three times, it will be possible to switch between three preset output power modes: 40 W, 60 W and 80 W.

The complete GEMM Tank is a disposable device without the ability to replace the evaporator. The outer shell of the device is made mainly of plastic, which allows positioning the device as a consumable element. The tank will be available in two versions: regular and for the European market. The latter version differs in height and capacity.

For filling the tank, a special hole is provided in its upper part, covered with a silicone plug, and the GEMM Tank can hold up to 5 ml of liquid (2 ml for the TPD version).

As mentioned above, the atomizer does not provide for the replacement of the evaporator, and in case of failure of the latter, the entire device will need to be replaced. In total, Freemax has developed as many as six types of pre-installed evaporators of the G series, which will differ in resistance and the number of coils. Five replacements use a mesh as a spiral and only one uses a standard coil made of 316L stainless steel. An interesting solution can also be called the use of 90% cotton from tea tree fibers in the evaporators, which, according to the manufacturer, should improve the taste of the replacements.
