Review of Augvape Intake MTL RTA

The variety of vape devices available on the relevant segment of the market amazes even sophisticated vapers, and you can choose anything you like. But at the same time, it is possible to choose a device that will maximally meet the requirements and wishes of vapers. It’s worth saying that for a long time, tanks with a tight cigarette puff have been a favorite among vapers. Just for such users Augvape company decided to continue one of its famous Intake lines, which is now equipped with MTL tank. Augvape Intake MTL RTA is quite interesting in its design, which is made in the format of a non-pouring tank, with the possibility of using the atomizer for both tight MTL-puff and pseudo-DTL.

General Info

Augvape Intake MTL RTA is a single coil atomizer with a top air intake, replaceable vaporizers and an original blowing system. The design of the new tank is very similar to the previously released tanks of this series with the same corporate lines, notches and minimal decor. canadian vaping One rather small coil is installed in the tank, which is blown from the bottom, and there is a possibility to change the nozzle with holes of different diameters. Air intake is made from the top, thanks to which the device belongs to the non-pouring. Augvape Intake MTL RTA is available in three colors: steel, gun metal and black.

Kit

It is worth giving credit to Augvape, which has packed its new atomizer very decently, so the vaper will not have to look for any add-ons for the tank. In the box, the vaper will find:

Intake MTL RTA atomizer;

A spare Bubble glass;

Five orings;

Five jets (one pre-installed);

Spare screws;

Two pre-wound Clapton Coils;

User’s Manual;

Warranty card.

Appearance and Design

It’s no secret that Augvape Intake series atomizers are created in collaboration with the famous blogger and reviewer Mike Vapes, who always offers quite original ideas. And Augvape Intake MTL RTA is no exception, as it can be confidently considered a worthy successor of the series, but now it is quite a decent tank with universal MTL and DTL puff.

Just look at the Augvape Intake MTL RTA and it becomes clear that this device is a continuation of the series of the same name, as all the characteristic lines are preserved. If we talk about the decoration of the tank, it is the facets on the top cap and the name on the dome. The diameter is 24 mm, as the tank is designed for top air intake.

Depending on the vaper’s preferences, you can use a 3.1 ml glass or a bubble glass, which allows you to increase the volume to 4.6 ml. The drip tip used in the tank is a traditional 510 with an internal diameter of 5.1 mm. If you want, you can always replace it with any from your collection.

Base, airflow and features of use

Augvape Intake MTL RTA can be safely attributed to cigarettes, so it is quite logical that it provides for the installation of only one coil. Installation is done horizontally, directly above the blow hole. To fix a rather small coil, there are two cross screws screwed from the top. It is important to know that the screws are screwed counterclockwise, so when installing for the first time, do not try to tighten the screws in the traditional way.

Laying the wool will not cause any problems or difficulties for its ends there are two sufficiently deep wells with a stopper. The main thing to remember is that there is no need to lay the wool very tightly, otherwise garikane will be avoided.

In Augvape Intake MTL RTA the blowing system is interestingly implemented. Directly under the coil are installed nozzles or jets with holes of different diameters, thanks to which the vaper can choose the optimal puff for him. The diameter of the nozzle holes is 1.0/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 mm, and the coil will have to be removed to replace the nozzle. The nozzles are screwed into the base with a standard slotted screwdriver.

No less interesting is the air intake system, which is taken from the top, and then through two tubes enters the blowing hole under the coil. The uniqueness of this system is that the air intake can be done from both sides (there are two openings for this purpose, a small round one and a rather large wide one), thanks to which it is possible to provide both tight MTL draw and looser, almost DTL draw. Naturally, in order to use the tank in DTL mode, it is necessary to install a maximum diameter nozzle beforehand.

Refilling the Augvape Intake MTL RTA will not cause any questions or difficulties the top cap unscrews in half a turn, revealing two medium sized holes.

Conclusions and impressions

Augvape Intake MTL RTA is quite an interesting atomizer, which with all its advantages is also universal, because with its help you can provide MTL and pseudo-DTL puffing. Naturally, the tank is not without its drawbacks, but for vapers who can’t decide which puff they like the most, it will be perfect, especially since the tank is non-pouring.
