Review of Vaporesso Swag PX80

The Vaporesso Swag PX80 is a medium sized pod mod that runs on a single 18650 battery running the Axon chip on GTX series interchangeable vaporizers. The design of the new sub-mod is almost similar to the Swag 2, but with the difference that this device uses a removable cartridge instead of the atomizer. Thanks to the Axon chipset, the vaper gets good performance and the ability to adjust the working power. The cartridge works on interchangeable vaporizers GTX series, of which there are many, as well as the possibility of using RBA-base. You can buy Vaporesso Swag PX80 in five colors – Emerald Green, Imperial Red, Brick Black, Leather Brown, Gunmetal Grey.

Swag PX80 Mod Battery Pack

Surely many vapers know Vaporesso’s Swag and Swag 2 box mods, which are well deserved among users because of their reliability, performance and compact size. Given the fact that these box mods are in demand, the company decided to release it in a sub-mod format, so the light saw Vaporesso Swag PX80.

If we talk about the design of the Vaporesso Swag PX80, it is exactly the same as the Swag 2 small, with slightly rounded edges and corners, with the characteristic battery compartment plug. The device is really small 99.7*50.9*27.2 mm, so it fits in your pocket perfectly. Very convenient that the sides are decorated with eco leather and IML panel (fused label).

The maximum power of 80 watts is provided by the traditional 18650 battery, which is installed on top under the usual screw cap. If necessary, you can charge the battery with 2A current using the USB Type-C connector on the side of the device.

Swag Pod Cartridge

Given the fact that Vaporesso Swag PX80 is not just a box mod but a sub-mod, it has no 510 connector, instead it has a small hole where the cartridge is installed, and the cartridge is very much like the Voopoo PnP Pod creation. In the battery pack the cartridge is held by magnets. An important feature of the Vaporesso Swag PX80 is that it uses GTX series vaporizers, which are currently available for every taste and type of vaping. There are two GTX vaporizers with 0,2 and 0,3 ohm grid in the kit. If you want, you can additionally buy a serviced base, in which the vaper will install the desired coil himself.

The blowing system is quite interestingly implemented in order to set the puff; you just need to turn the tank directly in the battery pack.

Not less original is the process of changing the vaporizer; it can be done without draining the liquid from the tank. To change the vaporizer you need to rotate the drip-tip by 45 degrees, press it and the vaporizer will come out of the cartridge, after that you can replace it. The cartridge is easy to refill: there is a silicon plug on the bottom face of the cartridge which you can open to add 4 ml of liquid to the reservoir.

Conclusions and impressions

We can’t say that Vaporesso Swag PX80 is an innovative device because it’s just a slightly modified Swag 2, but that’s exactly what makes it interesting, because the vaper gets a reliable and simple device. Thanks to the reliable chip, wide range of vaporizers, compact size and original airflow control system, this device will be a worthy device for both beginners and experienced vapers.
