Review of Vaporesso Luxe S 220W Touch Screen TC Kit with SKRR-S

Review of Vaporesso Luxe S 220W Touch Screen TC Kit with SKRR-S

Vaporesso Luxe S 220W is an improved version of the Luxe line box mod, powered by two 18650 batteries and equipped with the same 2 inch TFT color touch screen.

SKRR-S Tank is also an improved version of the SKRR atomizer. The tank is top-filled and the maximum volume is 8 ml of liquid. Atomizer supports Vaporesso QF interchangeable vaporizers, and a new type of QF strip coil was added which allows you to blow huge clouds of vapor. And last but not least the air blowing system has been improved a little bit.

General Data and Design

It would be most reasonable to discuss the changes and innovations in the design of the device compared to the previous generation of the device, but there are none. The size is exactly the same, the number of colors is the same, and the controls are in the same places. But here it is clear, because Canadian vape shop toronto decided to improve the technical component of the kit, and yet, why they decided not to add at least new colors remains open.

Well, in order not to look for reviews on the previous version of the device I will write something. The dimensions of the device are not the smallest and it doesn’t fit into every palm, especially for women. The rounded edges allow to hold the device comfortably in your hand, but I can not call it ergonomic. The control element is the Fire button, for the remaining adjustment of the device is still responsible for the color touchscreen display, under which is located micro-usb for charging.

In general, the device still looks nice, and the number of color solutions is still huge. You can see them in the picture below.

Kit

1 x Luxe-S mod

1 x SKRR-S Tank (8ml)

1 x QF Strips Coil 0.15ohm (preset)

1 x QF Meshed Coil 0.2ohm

1 x Extra Glass (5ml)

1 x Silicone Glass Case

1 x O-rings

1 x USB Cable

1 x Operating Instructions

1 x Warranty card from the manufacturer

Overall the Kit is pretty good; it contains everything you could possibly need and most importantly a new type of vaporizer.

Technical Specifications

” Luxe S

Size: 47.8 x 29.5 x 86mm

Screen: 2.0-inch color TFT touchscreen

Power: 2 x 18650 rechargeable batteries (buy separately)

Power Range: 5-220W

Atomizer resistance range: 0.03-5 ohm

Connector: 510 thread

The board is still the OMNI board 4.2 chipset and it is slightly improved, how manufacturer decided not to specify. So all we have are the manufacturer’s words and that’s basically the difference from the Luxe of the previous generation.

The main thing box mod super-fast response Fire button, which according to the manufacturer is a thousandth of a second. Personally for me this response is comparable only with mechanical mods, and it is ideal.

The box mod works with two 18650 batteries, and the battery compartment is located under the lid on the opposite side from the display. Also a very important feature of the device is a very fast 2.5A charging. But the disadvantage of such charging speed is that 18650 batteries are not designed for such high charging current and will go bad very quickly, so I would recommend to use it only in emergency cases when you need to recharge quickly. In other cases I strongly advise to use chargers and always have spare batteries.

SKRR-S

Size: 30 x 59.85 mm

Base diameter ~28 mm

Capacity: 5/8 ml

Vaporizers: QF Strips 0.15ohm, QF Meshed 0.2ohm

There are much more changes in atomizer than in the box mod. The first change touched the tank lid, in usual version it was pushed aside like in all SMOK atomizers, now it is taken off and held by an ring. Why this decision was made is not clear to me and yet it is.

The second change was about the change of the anti-spitting system and the additional internal air blowing. According to the manufacturers statement the atomizer will still not spit, but the quality of blowing has improved towards the taste component, which can not but please. Also due to these changes added compatibility with GT series vaporizers from Vaporesso, which will not be superfluous. But I still recommend using the QF series.

Otherwise it’s still the same great atomizer, capable of producing huge puffs of vapor due to its QF vaporizers, but now it has better flavor transfer of the liquid.

Conclusions and impressions

“If we talk about the box mod, I do not particularly understand its changes, if they are only technical, then why present it as a new device? My assumption is that this is done simply to sell it in a set with a more heavily modified SKRR-S. And the atomizer has changed a little more noticeably and again, I do not particularly understand the change in the tank lid, what was wrong with the first version? But the change of the anti-spit system, which improved the internal airflow and increased the flavor transfer and the addition of compatibility with the previous line of vaporizers is a great technical solution.

So I would conclude that you can change only the atomizer and get all the same benefits as in the new S-set. So buying a new box mod would only be relevant for those who don’t have the regular version.

Advantages and disadvantages

Disadvantages

Nothing has changed in the box mod

It would be possible to add new colors

Advantages

It’s still the same flagship that can compete with anyone

Huge touchscreen display

Ultra fast 2.5A charging capability (which I recommend not abusing)

Ultra fast response Fire button

High autonomy atomizer and convenient top loading
