Review of Smoant Taggerz Kit

Review of Smoant Taggerz Kit

There is quite an interesting statistic that more than 80% of vapers who use box mods do not strive to get a lot of settings and additional features. The standard Varivatte is enough for them, in the best case with the possibility of pre-gel for more comfortable vaping. So they buy box mods with minimal functionality. But at the same time many pay attention to the ergonomic design, weight, battery installation option, availability of USB. It is for such vapers company Smoant released its new inexpensive starter kit Taggerz Kit, which is as easy to use as possible, but is able to work stably, pleasing vapers with its technical characteristics. It is worth saying right away that vapers who are used to large touch-screen color screens and hundreds of settings will not like this kit. But those who are looking for a kit designed for the usual simple use in varivate/thermocontrol mode will like it 100%.

General Info

The Smoant Taggerz Kit is a starter kit consisting of an easy to use two battery box mod that works in standard modes, and a disposable atomizer that allows for a pretty decent flavor delivery. The Taggerz box mod was designed specifically for those who will be using the box mod in a few basic modes of operation, and without too much frills. The design is designed so that the device is the most comfortable to sit in your hand, and it weighs very little. canadian vape shop ottawa Despite the fact that Smoant Taggerz is positioned as one of the simplest mods, it is equipped with all the necessary functions for comfortable smoking. Using a disposable tank in the kit is more of a marketing ploy, as 99.9% of vapers almost immediately replace it with another. Buy Smoant Taggerz Kit is available in six colors black, gold, gray, red, blue and graffiti (surface stylized).

Kit

Given the fact that the Smoant Taggerz Kit is positioned as a simple and inexpensive kit, the manufacturer has equipped it accordingly:

Smoant Taggerz box mod;

Unattended atomizer Smoant Taggerz Tank;

USB charging cable;

Additional silicone cap for the tank;

User’s Manual.

Smoant Taggerz Box Mod

The decision to release a box mod that will be both functional and inexpensive, the company Smoant clearly is not spontaneous, as not all vapers are willing to pay a very decent amount for a box mod. This is especially true for beginners who are just starting to vaporize, as they do not yet know about the fact that you can set the thermal control curves or set the second-by-second preheat. Although even vapers with experience don’t always use all the features that are available in their mods.

The box mod Smoant Taggerz is made of plastic and zinc alloy, due to which its weight is minimal, which cannot fail to please, especially in summer. It is made in a rather traditional rectangular form factor with rounded corners and edges with small protrusions for the fingers under the fire button. This design has an undoubted advantage in the hand mod sits very well (an additional plus is the presence of small notches on the sides).

The maximum power Smoant Taggerz 200 watts (a little overstated parameter, but the manufacturer claims exactly 200) is provided by two conventional batteries 18650. Battery installation is done under one of the removable side panels, held by magnets. You can charge the batteries using the micro-USB connector located on the display panel with 1.5A current, which is not too bad for a budget mod.

The Smoant Taggerz uses a proprietary chipset that has already been installed by the company in other devices more than once and has managed to prove itself on the positive side. Among the features of this chipset is the ability to work in several modes – VW/DVW/TC(Ni,Ti,SS)/TCR, which is not too bad for a budget mod. At the same time it picks up resistance from 0,05 ohm, and this is a serious bid for success. The mod is equipped with a small monochrome display, which will allow the vaper to control the main parameters of the device.

Smoant Taggerz Tank Atomizer

There is not much to say about the Smoant Taggerz Tank atomizer, it is a disposable tank, which in any case will be almost immediately replaced by something more interesting. But at the same time it is equipped with a 0.2 Ohm coil and allows you to fill the tank with 2 ml of liquid. Skeptics will say that such tank is impractical, but on the other hand, Smoant Taggerz Kit is positioned as a starter kit, and a beginner will be fine with such tank for the first time.

To fill the tank there is a small hole which is closed by a silicone plug.

Conclusions and impressions

Smoant Taggerz Kit is a great kit for both a beginner and a vaper who wants to get the easiest-to-use device at a low price. Naturally, certain parameters, declared by the manufacturer, are a little overstated, but in most cases it is not critical, as the mod belongs to the budget, which means that you should not demand super performance from it.
