Review of Geekvape Aegis Squonk Kit. First Look

Today we will look at the continuation of the Aegis mod series from Geekvape, but this time in the form of a squonk.

The line of box mods under the general name Aegis, produced by the Chinese manufacturer Geekvape, currently includes quite a lot of devices, which in essence are not particularly different from each other. In many ways, these are classic box mods with minor differences, but with one common characteristic – protection from moisture, dust and impacts. Recently, the Aegis range has expanded with a remarkable new product, in some ways not similar to previous versions, but retaining the key features. We invite you to get acquainted with the Aegis Squonk.

The design of the Aegis Squonk is made in the style of previous products in this line and is available only in a black main body color with inserts of six colors: silver, green, black, “chameleon”, blue and red. canadian vape shop mississauga The mod will be sold both separately and in a set with the Tengu RDA dripper.

As before, the device has retained its main feature – protection from various external factors that negatively affect the operation of conventional box mods. Thus, the Aegis Squonk received protection according to the IP67 standard, which will allow the device to be submerged under water to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes, and also not be afraid of dust and even falls.

The back of the new product has a small window through which the user can interact with the liquid bottle. The latter holds a fairly standard volume of 10 ml. By the way, the kit will include a spare bottle.

At the very least, the engineers from Geekvape have implemented the squonk system in an interesting way. The solid part with a replaceable bottle held on screws can be separated, and a “regular” panel can be installed in its place, thereby turning the device into a trivial box mod. It is worth noting that such an option will only be available for the European market due to the latter’s legislation. As for the rest of the technical characteristics, the Aegis Squonk operates on one 18650 battery and is capable of delivering up to 100 watts of power. Otherwise, we have a fairly standard filling for modern mods.

There is a special “window” at the top of the device for filling the bottle, and the battery is replaced using a screw cap on the end of the squonk mod. Other design elements of the device are in their usual places.
