Review of Wismec Reuleaux RX Machina

Many vapers with a decent amount of vaping experience probably remember the first mechanical mod from Wismec with a very sonorous name Skyladon. At that time, it was quite a good device, albeit with some features and shortcomings. However, in those distant times, the mechanical mod industry was not so developed and the vaping market dictated completely different trends. Today, the popularity of “mechs” is growing at an extraordinary speed, and it is logical that many manufacturers are trying to jump on this rather “hype” train. Wismec did not stand aside either and literally the other day announced its own mechanical mod coupled with a new dripper. Well, let’s take a closer look at this new product.

Appearance of Wismec Reuleaux RX Machina

Wismec Reuleaux RX Machina is another product of cooperation between a Chinese company and Western designer JayBo, well known to us from many other devices. cheap vape kits As mentioned above, the mechanical mod will be sold complete with a dripper called Guillotine RDA. If this “RDA” seems not quite adequate to you, the mechanical mod can be purchased separately.

In terms of design, the device looks pretty good and original. It is clear that the name JayBo appears here not just for show, but the designer really had a hand in developing the device. The pipe itself has such a popular functionality as replaceable “drains”, and its diameter is as much as 28 mm. The dripper received quite classic dimensions: 35 mm in height and 24 mm in diameter.

According to modern trends, Reuleaux RX Machina can operate on two types of batteries: 18650 and 20700. Initially, the pipe is designed for the 20700 format, and compatibility with 18650 is achieved using a special adapter included in the kit.

Wismec Reuleaux RX Machina Design

As is often the case with Chinese manufacturers, the detailed design of the most important part of any mechanical mod (its button) is not disclosed. It is only known that the button has holes for the removal of gases in case of trouble with the batteries. Another feature of this mechanical mod is the standard connector instead of the hybrid one. Apparently, Wismec is very concerned about the safety of users.

We cannot but mention the complete Guillotine RDA dripper, the design of which, although not unique, is still somewhat different from many other RDAs on the market.

Wismec decided to use the Sub Ohm Innovations solution for their Subzero X dripper as stands for their dripper. Two massive stands have two screws that fix the coil legs with internal pressure plates. We will find out over time how much the interpretation of these stands is functionally better or worse than its Western progenitor.

But apart from the racks, the Guillotine RDA probably has nothing else to boast about. It’s just a dripper with side airflow, adjustable by rotating the top cap. However, for Wismec, this device really looks like a step forward.
