Review of UD Pollux S Kit. First look

Today we will get acquainted with the new creation of the once popular company UD in the person of the Pollux S Kit starter kit.

At the dawn of the development of the modern vape industry, the Chinese manufacturer UD was distinguished by enviable relevance and demand, time after time releasing hits in the form of non-standard at that time serviced atomizers. Over time, the “interestingness” of devices from the above-mentioned company somewhat diminished, and subsequently the brand completely disappeared from the radar, but periodically continued to release not too intricate devices. And today’s new product is by no means an exception, although it has some interesting features, which we will now look at.

The Pollux S Kit is a classic, in some way, starter kit for beginner vapers and consists of a battery pack and a tank of the same name. The height of the “whale” when assembled is 135 mm, and the diameter is 25 mm. canadian vape shop calgary From the available colors, you can choose a steel or black version, and the latter will be distinguished by a red drip tip and glass in the tank of the same color. The presented battery pack is not particularly functional, there is no newfangled output power adjustment and even the battery is non-replaceable. But the BB capacity is quite solid – as much as 3200 mAh.

The complete maintenance-free Pollux tank has a diameter similar to the battery pack, as mentioned earlier. However, the device received a decorative extension at the bottom, which also performs an auxiliary function when disassembling the device.

For some reason, the UD company emphasizes the 510 drip tips used in its tank and does not forget to remind you that the mouthpieces are replaceable. However, two types of such drip tips were made for the Pollux Tank: red and black. The color will depend on the selected color scheme of the entire device.

One of the main features of the atomizer is the upper air supply, implemented in the form of a rotating ring with three holes. The purpose of such a design, as the developer states, is to eliminate leaks as such, as well as to reduce the heating of the tank.

The Pollux Tank will be powered by a single type of maintenance-free evaporators with a resistance of 0.2Ω and a mesh coil installed inside. Here, as, in fact, in the entire kit, the UD company is again a little late.

Characteristics of the UD Pollux S Kit:

Height: 135mm

Diameter: 25mm

Battery: 3200mAh

Tank capacity: 2ml

Drip types: 510

Top air intake

Evaporators: 0.2Ω Mesh
