Review of Turbo 9000

Review of Turbo 9000

Friends, in today’s article I want to share my opinion about one very long-lasting device. Namely, the disposable Turbo XXL, which boasts as many as 9,000 puffs on board.

This is not my first encounter with Turbo products. I have already tested devices for 2200 puffs, 5000 puffs, 6000 puffs (here and here), and also tried liquid from this manufacturer. What’s immediately notable about all of these devices is the packaging design, and the Turbo XXL is no exception. Before us is a shiny box, on the front there is the name of the brand and the specific flavor (in Russian), a colorful picture that gives a hint about what we will try, some basic characteristics and a mention that components from the USA are used in production.

On the reverse side there is an image of the device. canadian vape shop ottawa The right side is occupied by all kinds of warnings, contacts of the manufacturer and importer, links on social networks, production date and expiration date (2 years). Well, if you look underneath, you will understand that you are unique – it says so there.

Set of disposable Turbo 9000

Inside the box there is a fairly standard set for “turbocharged” products: a bag with the device itself, a branded sticker and a short USB to USB Type-C cable for charging.

As for the device itself: the device turned out to be by no means small; it is made entirely of plastic. Interesting lines are applied to the body, most likely made by CNC (or maybe not, if you imagine the production volumes). In any case, the resulting relief definitely looks unusual and mysterious, even though you use your imagination to navigate the labyrinths along thin paths (this vision is a consequence of nicotine use, don’t pay attention).

At the top there is a “neck” with a hole for tightening; it is covered with a silicone plug. I admit, I thought it was too wide and slightly uncomfortable, but this is extremely subjective. At the bottom of the device there is a charging port, a small hole for air intake and a small LED. And just a few words about charging: a fully “planted” pod was filled with energy in about 1 hour from a standard 1.0 Ampere iPhone cube.

And at the end of the product presentation, a little about its characteristics:

Evaporator type: mesh coil (on a mesh)

Built-in battery capacity: 1200 mAh

Charging: USB Type-C

Liquid volume: 20.0 ml

Salt nicotine content in liquid: 1.9% (or 19 mg/ml)

Number of puffs (approximately): 9000

Description of Turbo 9000 flavors

So, the entire line of Turbo XXL disposables includes 24 unique flavors, developed with care and diligence. I got a few of them to try, and I think this is enough to understand the quality of the product.

Inside each disposable device there is a battery containing a reactive alkali metal – lithium. Such batteries should not be thrown away with household waste, but should be taken for recycling or special disposal.

Turbo 9000 – Strawberry Mojito

The base of taste is definitely strawberry. Not as natural as we always want, but even with a slight caramel flavor it’s quite acceptable. And here it is diluted with a good portion of live lemon (or lime – it’s hard to tell), a little mint and literally a little sweet soda are added here. And the most interesting thing is that together all this was able to make friends and give a good final taste. Paradoxical. And delicious.

Turbo 9000 – Mango Yogurt

“The taste is a fiasco,” I thought. And that’s why. As a long-time fan of mangoes, I realized more than once that this fruit should not be mixed with dairy ingredients. And imagine my surprise when my thoughts radically diverged from reality. Yogurt is the bomb, creamy, dense, tender. Mango is a plague, extremely sweet and ripe. And as a result – the complete destruction of the stereotype. This is how it happens, the taste was very surprising and extremely pleasing.

Turbo 9000 – Lychee Lemonade

The taste is unusual. And all because of the bright herbaceous taste at the very beginning of the puff. Where this “grass” came from here is a mystery, but it is there, and nothing can be done about it. Well, here we have a classic lemonade taste, unobtrusive, measured, quite suitable for “everyday”. Lychee for me still looks like a grape; here this representative of the tropics is very bright, has a lot of sweetness on board (which may turn off some) and has a quite pleasant taste. Paired with lemonade is just what you need.

Turbo 9000 – Raspberry Gin Tonic

Pleasant and at the same time bitter raspberries – that’s what comes to mind when you just start trying this mix. The berries here are excellent, very similar to the once popular Zenith – Orion. But here there is not only the aftertaste of the drink, but at the same time a slight bitterness, which makes the taste unusual and extremely memorable. And as a result, we get, perhaps, one of the best mixes with a drink in recent times (of the ones I’ve tried, I can’t vouch for the others).

Turbo 9000 – Grapefruit Grape

And finally, the taste, which was a little disappointing. This is because there are so many grapes here that you can even share them with the entire line. There’s just a lot of it. And no, it’s not unpalatable, it’s just that the expected citrus was lost somewhere very far away. Yes, there is some sourness and bitterness, but they are insignificant compared to the avalanche of juice and ripe pulp from the grapes. If you play tricks and tweak the balance, you can end up with a masterpiece. I believe and hope that they will fix it.

Conclusions

Like all previous lines of disposable device from Turbo, today’s Turbo XXL will be no exception and will definitely take one of the leading places. The tastes are good, the presentation of the product is, as always, at a high level, we are constantly working on new mixes and improving existing ones. And in this case, there are also as many as 9,000 puffs in one device – well, that’s good, isn’t it? I think that’s quite enough. Perhaps I will leave this question for the buyers’ wallets, because everyone spends as much as they can afford.
