Review of Geekvape Aegis X Kit. First look

The reason for this article was the long-awaited new product from Geekvape in the form of a continuation of the line of protected box mods Aegis.

The series of box mods under the general name Aegis is considered one of the most successful products of the Chinese manufacturer of devices Geekvape. Indeed, these devices are loved by many users for their excellent working board, interesting design with pleasant case materials and, importantly, the presence of various protections from environmental influences, be it moisture, dust or falls. Just the other day, Geekvape presented another mod from the same series, calling it simply and concisely – Aegis X Kit. We suggest you familiarize yourself with this flagship new product.

The design of the box mod is made in the spirit of previous devices and retains all the main distinctive features. vape devices in canada The manufacturer offers the user a choice of as many as eight different color options for the case, from classic to bright color solutions. The mod will be sold both separately and in a set with the unserviced Cerberus Sub Ohm Tank.

The Aegis X case is made of high-quality materials that are highly durable. In addition, as you might have guessed, the device can again boast a list of protective features according to the IP67 standard, which makes the device resistant to moisture, dust and impacts. Separately, it is worth noting the 510 connector here, it is implemented as a single unit with the main part of the case.

Inside the new product, an updated AS 2.0 board is installed with expanded functionality, the presence of all the most popular vaping modes, as well as support for firmware updates. It is proposed to interact with the “stuffing” of the Aegis X using a color OLED display with a diagonal of 2.4 inches, which will certainly fit all the information necessary for an ordinary user.

This time, the Aegis X will be powered by two replaceable 18650 batteries, and there is no word on whether it will support 20700 or 21700. The device also supports charging batteries directly inside the mod using the USB Type-C port with a current of 5V and 2A.

The included Cerberus Sub Ohm Tank atomizer is not something supernatural, but acts as a kind of “plug”. The tank has a very solid capacity of 5.5 ml in the case of using the so-called “bubble flask”, and with a standard glass installed, the volume will be no less than an acceptable 4 ml. The tank works from one type of evaporators – Super Mesh X1 KA1 0.2Ω.
