Review of Innokin MVP5 Ajax Kit. First Look

In today’s article, we will look at a box mod with a flashlight, compass and other features for outdoor activities called MVP5 from the Chinese manufacturer Innokin.

Box mods for an active lifestyle are far from uncommon in the modern vaping industry. Today, the market, although not abundant with such devices, still has several interesting examples, such as the Aegis mod series from Geekvape or Wismec Active. In this sense, the Innokin company went a little further and endowed its new product not only with a variety of vape features, but also quite useful functions for orientation on the ground. The device was named MVP5, and now we will get acquainted with all its important attributes.

The MVP5 box mod is equipped with a maintenance-free tank called Ajax and is available in five body colors: Forest, Sand, Gray, Black and White. canadian vape shop montreal It is curious that the colored epoxy resin inserts on the mod echo those on the tank, including the drip tips.

For the Ajax Tank atomizer, the box with the mod will come with two types of maintenance-free evaporators with a resistance of 0.16Ω and 0.35Ω. In addition, in the case of using third-party, but branded replacements, the box mod will automatically select the required vaping power. Moreover, for both DTL and MTL options.

Technically, the MVP5 is equipped with a fairly modern filling, and its maximum output power is 120 watts. However, in addition to the standard ability to manually adjust the power, the device can offer the user several preset wattage options: Normal, Boost and Soft. There are also special modes for Innokin tanks, for example, the AJAX mode for the complete tank and the ZENITH mode for the clearomizer of the same name.

As for the MVP5 power supply, there is no room for replaceable batteries, but the device has a fairly capacious built-in 5200 mAh battery, which can be charged using the USB Type-C port with a current of 5 V and 2 A. It is worth noting that the new product can work as a power bank, which is especially useful in field conditions.

In addition, for the same active recreation outside the city, the box mod has a flashlight that can shine in six modes: Max, Mid, Min, SOS, Beacon and Strobe.

And if the ability to light your way in the dark or charge your smartphone using a vape device does not surprise you, then the sensors installed in the MVP5 in the form of a compass, thermometer, barometer and altimeter will definitely not go unnoticed. However, knowing the Chinese industry, you should hardly expect adequate operation from all the above functions, but it is better to use devices specially designed for this.
